Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers brought Liverpool’s Ovie Ejaria to Ibrox on loan in the summer transfer window.

Ejaria, who joined Rangers on loan from Premier League club Liverpool in the summer transfer window, is struggling to cope with the rough and tumble of the Scottish Premiership, according to the report.
Gerrard has revealed that he will speak to the 21-year-old midfielder today, and the former England international midfielder has also stated that Liverpool are aware of the situation regarding the youngster – who earns £104,000 per year as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
“That’s something I need to discuss with Ovie,” Gerrard told The Daily Record. “I had a chat with him a few days ago and he’s slightly unsettled.
“Liverpool are aware of the situation. We’re in dialogue with them and I’ll have a conversation with Ovie on Friday and see where we go from there.”
Liverpool return?
Ejaria is a very good and promising young midfielder, but if the 21-year-old is unsettled at Rangers, then it would make sense for the Gers to send him back to his parent club Liverpool.
After all, there is no point in Rangers keeping hold of a loan player who is not entirely comfortable at Ibrox.
Moreover, letting Ejaria go back to Liverpool will also free up a spot in the Rangers squad for the second half of the season.
