Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has told Rangers TV that he thought Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara were ‘outstanding’ against Motherwell.
The Gers were in action at Ibrox on Wednesday night, hosting Motherwell having been over in France for wins over Lyon and Nice.
Rangers were in great form on Wednesday, as Ryan Kent and Ianis Hagi both scored inside the first 10 minutes.
Aribo then danced through the Motherwell defence to score, and a Ricki Lamie own goal in the second half wrapped up the win for Rangers.
Gerrard’s players look to be in fine form ahead of the new season, and he singled out two midfielders for praise.
Speaking after the game, Gerrard claimed that Aribo and Kamara were ‘outstanding’ in the first half, before being substituted at half time.

Gerrard noted that he almost has to pull them both back as they’re ready to go right now, with Rangers having to manage them carefully.
“I think people are at different stages, and there are a few individuals within it who certainly look ready to go now.
“Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara were outstanding first-half, and I’ve almost got to pull them back,” he added.
