Rangers got the better of Celtic 3-2 in the final of the Scottish FA Youth Cup on Thursday, thanks to goals from Ciaran Dickson, Dapo Mebude and Nathan Young-Coombes.
It was the first time that Rangers had won the competition since 2014, as the Under-18 side’s victory at Hampden Park in Glasgow must have made everyone at the Ibrox club proud.
Rangers striker Jermain Defoe and defender James Tavernier have taken to Twitter to revel in the win for the Ibrox youngsters over their Celtic counterparts, and so has midfielder Scott Arfield.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has also praised the youngsters for their win against their Celtic counterparts.
The Liverpool legend was impressed with the performances of the young players, and the former England international midfielder has also suggested that some of them could get chances in the first team.
Rangers are pretty much certain to finish second in the Scottish Premiership table this season and have nothing to play for.
