Southampton’s Steven Davis has paid tribute to the Leeds United man.

Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas was the hero for Northern Ireland on Saturday night.
The 26-year-old snatched a last-minute winner in Baku to help his country to a huge 1-0 win away to Azerbaijan.
Michael O’Neill’s side are now second in Group C and five points behind top-of-the-table Germany as their World Cup dream remains very much alive.

Understandably the Leeds man is getting the plaudits for his heroics, and Southampton and Northern Ireland star Steven Davis has paid tribute to his international team-mate on Twitter.

Dallas’s winner nicely bookends what was a good season for the 26-year-old winger.
He managed 31 Championship appearances for Leeds – 20 of those were from the start – as the Whites enjoyed their highest league finish since 2011.
The Yorkshire outfit ended up seventh in the Championship, missing a playoff spot by five points.
Then under Garry Monk, who is now at Middlesbrough following his shock resignation last month, Leeds managed to win only one of their last eight league outings in the second tier in a run of form which denied them a shot at the playoffs.
