Tottenham Hotspur winger Steven Bergwijn has told The Mirror (27/12, p62) that he now likes to copy Son Heung-min’s movement.
Bergwijn joined Spurs back in January of this year, leaving PSV Eindhoven for a big £25million move to North London.
The winger made a strong start to life with Spurs, bagging three goals and one assist in his first 14 league games for the club.
Bergwijn has played 10 league games this season, often featuring on the right wing as a somewhat more defensive option than Son on the other flank.
He has yet to register a goal or assist this season though, and notably missed two big chances against Liverpool earlier this month.
With Lucas Moura and Gareth Bale injured, Bergwijn should continue to play a big role for Mourinho, and he has highlighted the influence of Son.

The South Korean has been simply sensational in 2020, smashing 11 goals and four assists in 15 Premier League outings this season.
Bergwijn has admitted that he now runs at defenders more regularly because of Son’s influence, noting that he didn’t do it as much before playing with the Tottenham star.
“I think everyone has learnt from each other – and the position these guys is always good,” said Bergwijn. “Sonny knows how to run at them. Before I didn’t do that so much, now I do that more because I see how he does it,” he added.
