Steve Walsh was appointed the Everton director of football in the summer of 2016.

Everton director of football Steve Walsh is under pressure, according to The Daily Mail.

It has been reported that the former Leicester City scout is in danger of getting dismissed from his role due to poor signings.

Walsh was reportedly involved in the appointment of Sam Allardyce as Everton manager following the departure of Ronald Koeman and was also involved in the recruitment of Turkish forward Cenk Tosun from Besiktas in the January transfer window.

Everton fans are also not happy with Walsh, who was appointed the Merseyside outfit’s director of football in the summer of 2016.

Everton still in relegation trouble?

Everton’s recent results and performances have been disappointing, and the Toffees are not yet out of danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
