Everton’s director of football Steve Walsh has told the Liverpool Echo that he thinks Yannick Bolasie’s crossing has been ‘immense’ so far.
Backed by the funds of Farhad Moshiri, Everton splashed the cash on a number of new signings this past summer, with winger Bolasie one of their more exciting additions.

Bolasie, 27, spent more than four years with Crystal Palace, scoring 13 goals in 144 games, which was seen as a disappointing return having turned in some impressive, dangerous displays for the Eagles.
Possessing incredible pace and power, DR Congo international Bolasie is one of the most direct wingers in the Premier League, and whilst his end product can sometimes leave a lot to be desired, he’s made a decent start to life at Goodison Park.

With two assists in his first six appearances for Everton, Bolasie has struck up a connection with striker Romelu Lukaku, though the winger will be a little disappointed with his display against former club on Crystal Palace on Friday evening.
The international break is now upon us, and Everton’s director of football Steve Walsh has taken time to discuss Bolasie’s start to life on Merseyside.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Walsh suggested that he has been pleased with Bolasie’s displays so far, and even thinks his crossing has been ‘immense’.

Walsh has been impressed with Bolasie’s direct running, and thinks his ability to drive up the field even helps the Everton defence in stepping up to play higher up the pitch.
“He’s done very well,” said Walsh. “The quality of his crossing so far has been immense. Especially at Goodison. The good thing about Yannick is he gets you up the pitch. Whatever you ask of him he uses his strength, his power and his pace and gets you up the field. That helps our back four to shift up and then we can play from there,” he added.
