Rangers are reportedly back in for Motherwell striker Louis Moult.
Motherwell Manager Stephen Robinson
Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson has told STV that he is still hopeful that Louis Moult will sign a new contract with the club, as interest from Rangers resurfaces.
Moult, 24, joined Motherwell from Wrexham back in 2015, and the former Stoke City youngster has been a goalscoring sensation since making his move to Fir Park.
The Englishman hit 36 goals in his first two seasons with Motherwell, and has got off to a strong start this season with five goals in the first five games of the new campaign.

Moult scored from the spot on Saturday afternoon as Motherwell beat Kilmarnock 2-0, and he will be looking to beat his total of 18 goals in each of the last two seasons this term.
The problem for Motherwell is that Moult’s contract with the club expires next summer, and the Scottish Premiership side now risk losing their star striker for nothing in 2018, as he has rejected offers to stay with the Steelmen.
Recent reports from The Scottish Sun claimed that Rangers – as well as Blackburn, Brentford, Hibernian and Millwall – are all lining up moves to sign Moult next year, with some clubs possibly lining him up on a pre-contract agreement.
Louis Moult of Motherwell
With links to Rangers re-surfacing having previously been touted with a move to Ibrox over the summer, Moult’s future is once again a hot topic of conversation, with Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson offering his thoughts.
Robinson has told STV that he still wants to keep Moult at Fir Park, and whilst the striker has so far snubbed new terms, Motherwell will retain hope of keeping him, and will keep pushing him to sign a new deal as Rangers lurk.
“Anybody that scores that amount of goals, we don’t want to leave the football club,” said Robinson. “I haven’t given up hope of keeping Louis at the club, not by any stretch of the imagination, and will continue speaking to him,” he added.
