Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club finally released the new home shirt ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
What’s the story?
Well, for whatever reason, the Eagles were the last Premier League club to reveal their new home shirt this summer.
In our view, it was worth the wait.
Puma have decided to do something a little different with Crystal Palace this time around, adding diagonal stripes to the shirt.
Each stripe is outlined with a darker shade, which gives the strip real definition – it’s a very eye-catching design.
To make it even better, the Eagles included 101-year-old Pam – believed to be the club’s oldest fan – in their announcement of the kit.
It came after Steve Parish replied to a supporter who had hoped to buy the new shirt for their nan’s birthday, except it hadn’t been released yet!
Puma, take a bow

At last, all three of Crystal Palace’s kits for 2021/22 have been revealed.
In our view, Puma have done a great job.
The unique blue and white third kit, to commemorate the club being founded in 1861, is a breath of fresh air and adds something different.

In regards to the yellow away shirt, it’s a simple, yet clean, design of which there can be no complaints about.
Hopefully, we’ll get to see another signing or two modelling the new home shirt before the transfer window is over!
For now, let’s see what the Crystal Palace fans made of the club’s announcement…
