Newcastle United reportedly want to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi in the summer transfer window.

According to The Liverpool Echo, Liverpool are willing to sell Origi in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that the Reds want £27 million as transfer fee for the 23-year-old striker – who cost the Reds £10m when he joined from Lille in the summer of 2014, as reported by BBC Sport.
Earlier this month, The Chronicle reported of Newcastle United’s interest in the Belgium international striker – who earns £28,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
Liverpool legend Nicol has predicted Origi to stay at Anfield for the 2018-19 campaign.
Nicol told ESPN FC: “Divock Origi hasn’t been able to show his best, never had a real run in the team, but to come in and play the odd game from the start or come off the bench. I think he will do fine for Liverpool. He will definitely stay, in my opinion.”

No future at Liverpool?
Origi has struggled to make an impact at Liverpool, and it is hard to see the Belgian have a long-term future at Anfield.
The Reds have a fearsome attacking unit, and the former Lille striker will have to work extremely hard in order to establish himself in the Reds’ starting lineup.
While Origi would be a good signing for Newcastle in the summer transfer window, it is unlikely that Rafael Benitez’s side will pay £27m that Liverpool are reportedly asking for.
