Adam Lallana has been at Liverpool since 2014.

The former Liverpool defender and club legend does not think that Lallana is good enough to feature in manager Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup.
Nicol told ESPN FC, as transcribed by The Express: “I don’t think Lallana is good enough for where Liverpool are now. I think when he starts or when he comes on, there’s a clear drop-off. That’s not where Liverpool need to be.
“Liverpool need to be filling the squad out with players who are going to push the starting eleven players. For me Lallana doesn’t push anyone in the starting eleven.”

Stay or leave?
Lallana has been on the books of Liverpool since 2014, but the England international attacking midfielder is not guaranteed a place in the Reds’ starting lineup.
The 31-year-old is a squad player at best, but the former Southampton star is a good option to have on the substitutes’ bench.
For Liverpool to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title next season, they need a big and strong squad.
The Reds will also need a big squad to win the Champions League again next season.
Stats
Lallana made five starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool last season, and also played 104 minutes in the Champions League, according to WhoScored.
The attacking midfielder played 235 minutes in the Premier League and 150 minutes in the Champions League for the Reds during the 2017-18 campaign, according to WhoScored.
