Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge has been linked with a move to Spain.

Steve Nicol has told ESPN that he expects Daniel Sturridge to leave Liverpool in January.
The Daily Mail reported on Monday that the out-of-favour Liverpool striker was being lined up by Spanish side Valencia when the transfer window opens.
Regular football has been hard to come by for the 28-year-old this season and the Brendan Rodgers signing has only managed to start one game under Jurgen Klopp since the end of October.

Consequently, Nicol feels that the former Chelsea and Manchester City ace will wind up leaving.
He told ESPN: “I think a move to Valencia would suit him. I think he certainly has to go. Why he’s still at Liverpool I don’t know.

“Personally I thought he would move in the last couple of transfer windows. I’m going to say this is another hit.”
Sturridge has never really clicked with Klopp since the German replaced Rodgers a little over two years ago.
He has started only 21 Premier League games under the former Dortmund coach, which tells its own story, and leaving is probably the best for all parties at this stage.
