Steve Morrow has told The Times that Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson should have a loan spell away from the club.
The former Arsenal player, who spent a decade working on youth recruitment at the club, has raved about the 21-year-old winger.
Morrow believes that for Nelson to develop and progress, he needs to play regular first-team football, which he cannot get at Arsenal at the moment.
The former Arsenal player told The Times: “Reiss was always in the top two or three of his group from younger ages. The ability is there for Reiss, he hasn’t really fulfilled that yet and it may take another lengthy loan spell for that potential to really come through.”
Leaving Arsenal on loan
Nelson is a very talented and promising young winger who can become a big player for Arsenal in the coming years.
The winger is far below the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium at the moment, and lack of regular playing time is not helping him.

According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old has made two substitute appearances in the Premier League, and has scored one goal and provided one assist in four Europa League games for the Gunners.
With the likes of Willian and Nicolas Pepe ahead of him at Arsenal at the moment, it is hard to see Nelson get much playing time between now and the end of the season.
A loan spell at another club in the Premier League for the first half of next season could be massive for the youngster.
