Leeds United striker Steve Morison left the club in 2015.

Steve Morison has been reflecting on the crazy summer he experienced at Leeds United five years ago.
Morison was part of the Leeds squad left shell shocked by Massimo Cellino’s first summer in charge.
Morison told The Times that he could not believe the mass personnel changes, and admitted he had never heard of manager Dave Hockaday when he was appointed.
Morison said: “Ross McCormack left to go to Fulham and then all these people were turning up, all these players. It was crazy. And I mean like a conveyor belt.
“Every day, there was a new player and you were like, ‘Who is this guy?’ He’s from a Serie C team in Italy.
“We’re warming up and this new lad has fake boots on. He’s running around with these Pumas on that have 100 studs on the bottom. It was a conveyor belt of people like this.”

Leeds sacked Hockaday after four matches, and then fired his replacement Darko Milanic six matches later.
Morison had an important role under eventual successor Neil Redfearn, but when he was removed from his post at the end of 2014/15, the writing was on the wall for the striker.
He left for Millwall, where he has been since, and he has enjoyed a few battles against Leeds with differing results since.
Cellino left Leeds in 2017, and took over Italian club Brescia, who he guided to promotion to Serie A last season.
