Should Stoke City make an approach for Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers?

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers arrives at the stadium prior to the Scottish Premier League match between Celtic and Ranger at Celtic Park on December 30, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Steve McManaman has predicted on BT Sport that Brendan Rodgers will not leave Celtic for Stoke City.

The former Liverpool and Manchester City midfielder has asked why Rodgers will leave the Glasgow giants for Premier League club Stoke.

The former Liverpool and Swansea City manager has been in charge of Celtic since the summer of 2016 and has been a huge success at the Hoops.

Rodgers guided the Bhoys to the Scottish Premiership title, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup last season.

Celtic also played in the Champions League last season just as they have this campaign, and will feature in the Europa League next month.

Stoke are an established club in the Premier League, but the Potters have just sacked Mark Hughes and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

According to Sky Bet, the odds of Rodgers become the next Stoke manager are 33/1.
