The QPR boss says the international break will have many benefits for his players.

Queens Park Rangers boss Steve McClaren has endured a tough start to his career at Loftus Road but after a recent revival, the former Derby County boss believes his side will ‘get better and better’ over the international break, reports West London Sport.
QPR have recorded four points and back-to-back clean sheets in their last two games and McClaren has said it’s the perfect opportunity for his players to adapt to the 4-4-2 formation that has recently been installed.
Rangers have switched from a 4-2-3-1 to suit new strikers Tomer Hemed and Nahki Wells and McClaren has insisted that once the switch in formation has been learned, the Rs can begin to climb the table.
Grant Hall was also identified by McClaren as someone who can continue his comeback. The centre half played an hour of the recent Carabao Cup victory over Bristol Rovers and McClaren said he was happy to see him back in contention.

“The main thing is that he came through 60 minutes OK,” McClaren told West London Sport.
“He carries on the rehab and it’s going to be quite a while. The international break is going to be huge for all of us in terms of him and us (the coaching staff) working with the team.

“We’ve finally got that break where we can work with the two strikers, bed in a system and a way of playing better and better.”
The Hoops travel to Bolton Wanderers next Saturday, looking to make it three games undefeated and fans of the west Londoners will certainly be boosted by McClaren’s words. After the poor start, it’s clear the shape of the side in particular needed changing and if that can be done with positive results, QPR will start to climb the table.
