Steve Kerr has addressed his future with the Golden State Warriors while keeping his focus firmly on their upcoming Play-In clash against the LA Clippers.

The Warriors are heading into a high-pressure situation with no margin for error.

And with their season on the line, any long-term questions around Kerr have taken a back seat.

Steve Kerr focused on the LA Clippers clash over the Golden State Warriors’ future

Speaking in comments shared via 95.7 The Game, Kerr made it clear where his attention currently lies.

“I’m honestly not thinking about that. I’m just locked in on trying to beat the Clippers… And what I’m thinking about honestly is how much I enjoy this,” Kerr said.

The Warriors head into the Play-In Tournament as the 10th seed in the Western Conference, facing the 9th-seeded Clippers in a single-elimination matchup.

With the stakes clear, the focus remains entirely on the immediate challenge rather than any future decisions.

Steve Kerr reflects on Warriors tenure amid contract situation

While the future remains a topic externally, Kerr acknowledged his long-standing connection with the franchise.

“I still love what I do and I’ve been lucky to be here for 12 years with this group. Like I said, we’ll figure all that other stuff (contract situation) out whenever the season ends,” Kerr added.

The comments underline both his commitment and the timing of any decision, which will come after the postseason concludes.

For now, the priority is clear, with the Warriors needing a win to keep their season alive.

A loss to the Clippers would end their campaign immediately, making this one of the most significant games of Kerr’s recent tenure.
