Newcastle United won against Huddersfield Town, thanks to goals from West Bromwich Albion-owned Salomon Rondon and Ayoze Perez.

Newcastle got the better of Huddersfield 2-0 at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
After a goalless first half, Salomon Rondon – signed on loan from Championship club West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2018 – put the Magpies in the lead in the 46th minute.
Then six just minutes later, Ayoze Perez made it 2-0 to Rafael Benitez’s side, who had a numerical superiority since the 20th minute of the game when Huddersfield had Tommy Smith sent off a high tackle on Miguel Almiron.
Former Newcastle defender Howey was following the match, and he was impressed with the performances of 25-year-old Paraguay international attacking midfielder Miguel Almiron and 21-year-old midfielder Sean Longstaff for Newcastle against Town.
Former Newcastle centre-forward Micky Quinn has hailed Almiron on Twitter.

According to WhoScored, Almiron took four shots of which three were on target, played six key passes, had a pass accuracy of 82.1%, and took 46 touches.
According to Whoscored, Longstaff took two shots, played two key passes, 88%, won one header, and took 89 touches.
