Leeds United should go for Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce, Mick McCarthy or Sam Allardyce, suggests Steve Evans.

According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds have identified Bielsa as a candidate for the head coach’s role at Elland Road.
Gianlucadimarzio.com has reported that Whites’ chairman Andrea Radrizzani has decided that the Argentine is the right man for the managerial role at the club.
Former Leeds head coach Evans, who was in charge of the West Yorkshire outfit from October 2015 until the end of the 2015-16 season, does not think that Bielsa is the right man.
Evans has suggested that Leeds should appoint Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce, Mick McCarthy – who is without a managerial job at the moment following his departure from Ipswich Town in April – or former West Ham United and Newcastle United manager Sam Allardyce.

“They’re perhaps going to an Argentinian (Bielsa),” Evans told Sky Sports. “I think his reputation in the game on a worldwide basis is phenomenal.
“But will he know what it’s like going to the New York Stadium in Rotherham on a Tuesday night? I’m not so sure.
“But I’m looking at Steve Bruce and Mick McCarthy – English managers with track records of getting out of the Championship – and why are they not knocking on those doors?”
Evans added: ”The British guys know the league and they know how to get out of it. Sam Allardyce has just come out of Everton – he must be another strong candidate.”

Good appointment for Leeds United?
Bielsa has not managed in the Championship, but that does not mean that he will not be a success.
The success achieved by Aitor Karanka, Nuno, Carlos Carvalhal and Slavisa Jokanovic proves that experience is not a must to be successful with a club in the Championship.
Leeds fans should be excited at the prospect of Bielsa becoming the new head coach.
