The former Leeds boss is backing Garry Monk to make it three wins in a row.
Former Leeds’ manager Steve Evans
Former Leeds United boss Steve Evans has been speaking about the club’s recent results this week – ahead of their Championship tie with Nottingham Forest this weekend.
Leeds struggled at the start of the season but after saving a late draw against Fulham they beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 in Sheffield last weekend. In midweek they have defeated Luton Town in the EFL Cup and Evans, who was replaced by Monk in the summer, believes Leeds could get all three points again this weekend.

The Scot told Radio Yorkshire:
“Garry’s got a great win at Hillsborough. People can say he was going to go afterwards if he’d lost but he got the win.
“He’s on the march.
“He’ll be looking forward to come to Forest. I watched Forest on Saturday. I would be thinking those three points are there.

“I think there’s a big possibility for the Leeds faithful to go into the international break on the back of three wins.”
Forest’s form, like Leeds’, has been inconsistent this season.
But the main factor that Leeds will want to play on will be the weaknesses in defence that Forest clearly have.
The Reds have won 4-3 twice this season and conceded 12 altogether from their six games so far this season.

Leeds United’s former boss Evans clearly feels that this is an area that Monk and the current Leeds crop can exploit this weekend.
This clash is between two of the biggest clubs outside the Premier League and Evans is clearly hoping that Monk can do better than he did in this clash, after a 1-0 defeat at Elland Road in February and a 1-1 draw at the City Ground in December.
