Leeds United are currently just one point outside the Championship play off spaces.
Steve Evans has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on 3rd of November, that Garry Monk deserves credit for the players that he has sold at Leeds United.
Leeds got rid of the likes of Sol Bamba, Giuseppe Bellusci and Mirco Antenucci during the summer transfer window.
And Evans has suggested that Monk was correct to let the trio leave Elland Road.

“I think he’s carried on a plan which started as far back as when we went into the football club,” Evans, who managed Leeds last season, said.
“What Garry has been able to do is remove players who weren’t good enough behind the scenes.
“He has put his stamp on the place, and he should take all of the plaudits he deserves.”
There was some disappointment at Elland Road when Evans’ contract was not extended by Massimo Cellino at the end of last season.

However, Monk has done a brilliant job since taking charge of Leeds.
The 37-year-old boss has breathed new life into the Yorkshire side, and has guided Leeds to eight wins from their last 11 matches.
Leeds are now just one point outside the play off spaces, and in the best form they have been for a number of years.
Leeds are next in action this weekend, when they take on Norwich City at Carrow Road.
