Wood has been in good form for Leeds so far this season and scored against Aston Villa at the weekend.
The New Zealand international striker scored the Whites’ second goal at Elland Road in a 2-0 victory on Saturday evening.

The 24-year-old former West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City man has scored 10 goals and created 18 chances in 18 Championship appearances for Leeds so far this season.
Former Leeds head coach Evans, now in charge of League Two outfit Mansfield, has praised Wood, and believes that the Whites need to keep him fit.
“He is a great lad, he is a goalscorer, they have to keep him fit,” said Evans on the Football on 5: The Championship show on Channel 5 on Saturday evening (broadcast from 9pm, December 3, 2016). “He is the main striker.”

Leeds are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 32 points from 19 matches.
The Whites have established themselves as genuine playoff contenders, and fans are very excited and optimistic.
The West Yorkshire outfit will return to action on Friday evening when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion away from home at the American Express Community Stadium in the Championship.
