Steve Evans said on the Goals on Sunday show on Sky Sports 1 on Sunday morning (broadcast from 10:30am, September 4, 2016) that Leeds United chairman Massimo Cellino will not change his ways.

Evans was the Leeds head coach from October 2015 until the end of the 2015-16 season.

The former Rotherham United manager believes that Cellino will continue to change managers if results are not always positive.

“I think from knowing the individual, I don’t think Mr Cellino is ever going to change,” said Evans on the Goals on Sunday show on Sky Sports 1 on Sunday morning (broadcast from 10:30am, September 4, 2016). “I think it will be purely 100% results-dependent.”

Cellino has earned a reputation of hiring and firing managers quite frequently.

Garry Monk, who is in charge of Leeds at the moment, is the sixth full-time head coach appointed by Cellino since June 2014.

Results under the former Swansea City manager so far this season have not been good, and pressure is building on him.

Leeds have a decent squad and should be able to at least push for a top-10 finish in the Championship this season.

The West Yorkshire outfit have not featured in the Premier League since 2004 and are aiming to claim a playoff spot in the Championship this season.

The Whites will take on Huddersfield Town at Elland Road in the Championship next weekend.
