Leeds United suffered their first defeat of the season to Swansea over the weekend.

Swansea City manager Steve Cooper has defended his team’s celebrations at Elland Road after they recorded a 1-0 win against Leeds United over the weekend.
Wayne Routledge netted a late goal when his shot managed to slowly find its way into the back of the net as the away side celebrated with absolute joy.
The result meant that the Swans moved to the top of the Championship table ahead of the international break, whilst Leeds suffered their first defeat of the campaign.
Cooper made it clear that his team won’t get too carried away with being top of the table, but he did state that playing at Elland Road will be a ‘test’ for any team in the second tier.
“Any away game in this league is a test,” said Cooper, as quoted by Leeds Live. “These are the games you have to be excited about – you have to have a go and enjoy it and that’s what they did.
“Why not [celebrate]? Why not enjoy the moment? We came here to win, so when you do that, why not celebrate?’ Too early for any mention of being top of the table.”

It has been a strong start to the season for Swansea, who over the course of the summer, just like Leeds, lost a number of their key players.
Winger Daniel James moved to Manchester United, whilst their manager Graham Potter, took up the managerial vacancy at Brighton.
Either way, with Leeds looking to challenge for those top spots, it seems as though they are going to have a challenger in Swansea City this season.
