Wolverhampton Wanderers are nailed on to gain promotion back to the Premier League this season.
Wolves legend Steve Bull spoke exclusively to the Express & Star during a Q&A session, and shared his belief that his former club will finish inside the top half of the Premier League table, if they go on to achieve promotion this season.
The Black Country outfit have been totally dominant in the Championship this season, and currently sit comfortably at the top of the pile, with just 12 more points needed to guarantee promotion back to the top flight.
It would take an astronomical collapse from Wolves for them to miss out on a place inside the top two this season, and the way they have been playing of late, there is little chance of that happening.
Bull, who scored a club record 306 goals for Wolves, took part in a Q&A session with the Express & Star, and responded to a question asking him where he thinks his former club will finish in the top flight next season:
“I’m thinking above half way. What I’ve seen there at the moment, the bottom teams are not the best, I’m not being disrespectful to those teams, but the way that we play here is Premier League standard.”
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men will be desperate to wrap up promotion as soon as possible, but with games against Middlesbrough, Cardiff City and Derby County all to come in their next four outings, that will be easier said than done.
