Wolves legend Steve Bull urged his former side to remain focused for the entirety of the 90 minutes, rather than just exerting themselves for periods of time, and highlighted Jamie Vardy’s performance for Leicester City against Liverpool on Monday night as a benchmark they should be aiming for, when writing his regular column for the Express & Star.
The Black Country outfit are currently sitting precariously in 20th position in the Championship table, with just two points separating them from 22nd placed Blackburn Roves, and face a daunting trip to the Madejski to take of fifth placed Reading tomorrow.
And Bull, who scored 306 goals for Wolves during a 13 year spell with the club, highlighted the need for Paul Lambert’s men to maintain high concentration levels throughout the entirety of every football match they play from now until the end of their campaign, when writing his regular column for the Express & Star:

“You have to switch on for 90 minutes. Look at Vardy after he scored the other day, pointing to his head and saying concentrate. That’s what you have to do, not concede another sloppy goal.”
Wolves will have to improve, and fast, if they are to climb their way clear of the relegation zone.
They do at least have a kind looking run of fixtures on the horizon, however, following their game against Reading, with five of their next seven opponents currently inside the bottom half of the table.
