Nuno’s men were disappointing at home to Hull on Tuesday night, although their exertions four days prior against Middlesbrough surely played a huge part in their lethargic display against the Tigers.
Bull warned Wolves that they will have to be at their very best both physically and mentally tomorrow night, after the wake-up call they received at the hands of the Bluebirds in August, when writing his regular column for the Express & Star:
“They (Cardiff) bullied us a bit back in August when they beat us 2-1 at Molineux in what was, at the time, a wake-up call for Nuno Espirito Santo who learned a lot about the Championship.”
The Black Country outfit need just nine more points to guarantee promotion back to the top flight, but with games against Cardiff and Derby County on the horizon, things aren’t looking as comfortable for them as they once were.
