Wolves legend Steve Bull spoke to the Express & Star during a Q&A session, and raved about the quality of new signing Adama Traore, comparing the winger to Manchester City star Raheem Sterling.

The Spaniard joined Wolves from Middlesbrough earlier this month, for a club record fee of £18 million, and many fans and pundits alike are backing him to be a huge success at Molineux.

Traore, 22, possesses blistering pace, and is a physically powerful specimen. He will certainly add a new level of speed, power and directness to the Black Country outfit’s play in the final third, but he will have his work cut-out against Pep Guardiola’s magnificent Manchester City side on Saturday.

Bull, though, believes that the Barcelona academy graduate has what it takes to cause the Citizens real problems at the weekend, comparing him to City ace Raheem Sterling, when speaking exclusively to the Express & Star:

Raheem Sterling of Man City warms up ahead of the Premier League match between Manchester City and Huddersfield Town at the Etihad Stadium on August 19, 2018 in Manchester, England.

“He’s a good addition to the side, he’s strong, he’s massive, he’s fast, he can catch pigeons! He’s very quick. I’d love to see him against Raheem Sterling to be fair, because Sterling’s fast, but I think Traore would do him.”

Wolves will have to come out of the blocks fast against City on Sunday, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating the Premier League champions, and who better to lead the charge than their explosive new signing.
