Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Birmingham City to the Molineux tomorrow night.

When writing his regular column for the Express & Star, Wolves legend Steve Bull highlighted how his former club should look to take advantage of the Blues’ lack of confidence when the two sides square off against each other tomorrow night in the Championship’s eagerly anticipated 19:45 kick off.
Paul Lambert’s men are actually in need of the points just as much of Gianfranco Zola’s side, and are sitting precariously in 19th position in the Championship table, just five points clear of 22nd placed Wigan Athletic.
Birmingham are in trouble themselves, just five points ahead of Wolves in the table, and Zola will take his men to the Molineux on the back of five defats from their last six outings.
And Bull, who scored 306 goals for Wolves, highlighted the importance of his former club taking advantage of the obvious lack of confidence currently present amongst the Blues’ squad, when writing his column for the Express & Star:

“We’ve got to look to take advantage of their lack of confidence. It’ll be really important to set the tone early on, like we did against Chelsea, and get on that front foot.”
Wolves have shown with their performances against Liverpool and Chelsea in the FA Cup just how good they can be, and the levels that they are capable of reaching.
And starting with tomorrow night’s game against Birmingham, they need to produce those kind of displays on a regular basis, if they are to avoid being dragged further into the relegation battle.
