Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, Premier League club Tottenham are interested in signing Grealish from Championship side Villa in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Villa, who reached the Championship playoff final last season, rate the 22-year-old at £35 million.
Villa manager Bruce has suggested that he wants to keep hold of Grealish – who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder – now that Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens are the new majority owners.
Bruce told Villa’s official website regarding the future of Jack Grealish, Chester and Kodjia: “The one thing that the pair of them have said is that nobody is for sale. That’s music to my ears.
“We don’t want to lose our best players. We all know in football that unfortunately these things happen.
“But we will now be doing our utmost to make sure these things do not happen and not let them go anywhere.”
No Jack Grealish to Tottenham Hotspur?
Villa are a big club, and the Villans will be confident of keeping hold of Grealish now that they have new owners.
The problem that Villa could face is if Grealish himself wants to leave or is open to joining Tottenham.
Of course, if Spurs make a big offer, then it will be hard for Villa to turn it down, but it is positive for the Villa Park faithful that Bruce is determined to keep hold of Grealish.
