Aston Villa are set to take on Bolton Wanderers at the weekend.

Steve Bruce has confirmed at his latest press conference, which was broadcast on Aston Villa’s official website, that James Bree will be recalled to his side’s starting line-up for their match against Bolton Wanderers.
Villa have a massive shortage of options at full-back, with Neil Taylor, Alan Hutton and Axel Tuanzebe all sidelined.
And Bruce has now suggested that Bree will come straight into his side for the weekend.
“James Bree has been champing at the bit. It’s his chance. He’ll play left-back,” Bruce said.

Bree has found chances hard to come by at Villa, and will be playing out of position at the weekend.
The 20-year-old is generally stationed on the right-hand side of defence, so playing on the opposite flank will present a new challenge.
Bree’s last Championship start for Villa came way back in September, but he will be under pressure to show no signs of rustiness.

Villa have very little margin for error, if they are to make it into the automatic promotion spaces.
Bruce’s men are currently seven points behind second placed Cardiff, with Villa looking more likely to have to settle for a play off spot.
