Aston Villa may need another sharp shooter this summer, and this former Palace man could do the trick.
Steve Bruce needs attacking options ahead of his second season in charge of Aston Villa, and would be wise to move for Fraizer Campbell, 29, who was recently released by Crystal Palace. Despite being linked to Sunderland last month by the Sunderland Echo, Campbell is still a free agent and more than capable of getting goals in the Championship.
Campbell had a disappointing season at Crystal Palace last year making 12 substitute appearances and scored just once. Furthermore, Frazier made just 11 appearances in 2015-16, and seven of those were as a substitute. He needs a club where he can get back into a run of games and more than that Campbell could benefit from a manger that can believe in him.

The 29-year-old was no fan of Alan Pardew, and even liked the club’s Instagram announcement when Pardew was sacked in December 2016, says the Sun.
With injuries, Campbell faired no better under Sam Allardyce and with Frank de Boer wanting new faces, Frazier is looking for a new club.
Campbell was formerly with Cardiff City before joining Crystal Palace and made 49 appearances for the Welsh club in 2013-14. He is an agile and quick forward that could do well again in the Championship.
Steve Bruce would know he is getting an experienced striker hungry to make the most of his latter years. The wage package would be the only real discussion point.
Steve Bruce may not have a vast kitty left after signing John Terry, but Campbell could be a good fit for an Aston Villa side who are tipped by SkyBet to be challenging for promotion.

However, Campbell may still get another shot at the Premier League. Huddersfield registered an interest in signing the player earlier this summer, according to the Sun.
The striker had been expected move to Huddersfield, his home town, according to the Sun, but the move has not materialised.
