Sunderland are set to take on Aston Villa tomorrow evening.

Sunderland have scored seven goals in their last three matches, and although they have failed to win any of them, Bruce has still been impressed.
Bruce’s Villa side are now set to take on Sunderland on Tuesday night, and although the Black Cats are stuck at the bottom of the Championship table, the claret and blues boss is under no illusions about the size of the task ahead of his side.

Bruce said: ”I’ve just spoken about this with my staff – Sunderland have scored three against Middlesbrough, they’ve scored three against Bristol City and they’ve gone to Millwall and got a result at the weekend.
“So, all of a sudden, they’re finding something. They have gone through a tough time but Sunderland away is never going to be easy.
“Just like every other game in this division we’ll approach it in the right way and see if we can come out on top.
“It’s going to be a big test. Like I’ve already mentioned, they’ve managed to get something at Millwall on Saturday so, slowly but surely, they might be turning it around.”

Villa go into the match with Sunderland as heavy favourites to pick up the three points, with both teams in need of victories for differing reasons.
A Sunderland victory could put them within one point of safety, but Villa will be determined to pick up a positive result.
The claret and blues are playing catch up in the race for automatic promotion, and have a four point gap to make up on Cardiff City, if they are to make it into the top two.
Villa should be refreshed heading into the game, as they did not play at the weekend, due to the poor weather.
