Tottenham Hotspur reportedly wanted to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

Grealish was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the simmer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham wanted to sign the 22-year-old from Villa in the summer transfer window.
The Daily Star has also claimed that Spurs are now regretting their decision not to sign Grealish before the Villans had a change in ownership.
The youngster, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, seems set to stay at Villa for now, with manager Bruce claiming that new contract will be signed soon.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Jack doesn’t sign a new contract within the next week,” Bruce told The Daily Star regarding Grealish.
“We’ve got to look after him. From what I gather from the owner, whatever he says he sticks to it.
“Jack’s disappointed which is understandable but let’s let the rawness disappear and move on.”

Grealish is one of the best young attacking players in the Championship, and the 22-year-old committing his future to Villa will certainly be good news for the Villa Park outfit.
A focused and committed Grealish is certainly going to be a huge asset to Villa in their quest to win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League this season.
According to The Daily Star, signing a new contract will see Grealish’s current wage of £20,000 per week double.
