Newcastle boss impressed with new signing.

Joelinton signing for Newcastle United was not just all talk.
The Magpies announced Joelinton’s signature last night via the club’s official website.
He was presented by new first team manager Steve Bruce.
Bruce said he could tell Joelinton was up for the challenge ahead, which will see him wear the historic number nine shirt.
He said he could tell Joelinton has the hunger to succeed at Newcastle.
Bruce said: “He’s learned the history and wanted it (the number nine shirt), and that’s always a big shirt to fill. But in his eyes, it was ‘bring it on – it’s what I’m here for’.
“He’s risen to that challenge, and I’m sure he will be a big, big favourite of the supporters. He’s got an incredible work-rate about him, he’s got a really good humility about him, and all the attributes a top striker needs.”

Joelinton signed from German side Hoffenheim and arrives with big expectation upon him.
He is Newcastle’s first signing this summer.
If he is surrounded by more signings, he has a chance of success. At present Newcastle’s squad needs more improvement.
