Aston Villa’s form in recent weeks has improved, and the team are now in the running for the Championship playoffs.

Villa are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 57 points from 40 matches, nine points behind sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday.

The Villans have won their last four league fixtures against Sheffield Wednesday, Wigan Athletic, Norwich City and Queens Park Rangers.

Bruce’s side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Burton Albion away from home at the Pirelli Stadium.

Villa will head into the match as favourites and should be able to pick up all three points, but the manager has highlighted an area his team need to improve.

The former Sunderland and Hull City boss believes that his players have to be better with the ball. Bruce, though, has praised his team for being strong defensively.

Villa fans must be delighted with how the team have been playing in recent weeks. The final stretch of the campaign promises to be very interesting for the Villans.
