Jonathan Kodjia scored his first goal in over six months for Aston Villa last weekend.

Kodjia scored his first goal for six months for Villa in their last match against Bolton Wanderers.
However, the Ivorian forward also missed a gilt edged opportunity during the contest – and did not look at his sharpest.
Kodjia has been out for a lengthy period of time with injury, and Bruce feels that it could still be a while before Villa’s star striker is back to his best.

“I don’t think we will see the best of Jimmy until November, December time,” Bruce said.
“I do believe, having watched people, you don’t get back to those levels, until you have been back for the same time as you were out.”
Kodjia’s return to fitness has helped to spark an improvement in Villa’s form.
Bruce’s side are unbeaten since the powerful forward returned to their starting line-up, and they have finally begun to climb up the Championship table.

Villa are now in seventh place in the second tier standings, with Bruce’s side lurking ominously just outside the play off spots.
Villa are next in action after the international break, when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
