Manchester United-owned defender Axel Tuanzebe was in action for Aston Villa against Blackburn Rovers in the Championship this past weekend.

Bruce made the comments following Villa’s 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers away from home at Ewood Park this past weekend.
The 20-year-old defender started the match for the Villans and played for the entire 90 minutes.
Tuanzebe spent the second half of last season on loan at Villa from Premier League rivals United and returned to the Villans in the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old defender – who earns £260,000 per year as salary, according to Spotrac.com – will stay at Villa for the 2018-19 campaign and will be hoping to establish himself in the first team as the season progresses.
Bruce told Villa’s official website: “Axel’s a fine young centre-back and is improving all the time. There’s still a few things to fix, but that’s normal.”

Back in action
Villa will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Rotherham United at Villa Park in the Championship.
Tuanzebe is likely to start for the Villans, with the United-owned central defender having played 455 minutes in the Championship so far this season, according to WhoScored.com.
