Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis has attracted interest from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Steve Bruce, Manager of Aston Villa looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Fulham and Aston Villa at Craven Cottage on April 17, 2017 in London, England.

According to the Argus, Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce has decided that Keinan Davis will not be sold in the January transfer window, and that is the correct decision.

Davis has been linked with a move for Brighton & Hove Albion’s, but Bruce has decided that the 19-year-old isn’t for sale.

And Bruce has made the correct decision by keeping Davis around.

The youngster may still have some work to do before he becomes a prolific scorer at Championship level, but he has a lot of enviable qualities.

Davis is blessed with great pace and power, and he also possesses a high level of ability in the air.

Davis has been thrown in at the deep end at Villa, and has been forced to lead the line regularly, due to the club’s injury problems.

In truth, he has probably been made to make the step up before he was completely ready, yet the prospect has coped well.

And, given the speed of his progression at Villa already, Bruce is definitely correct to keep him around for the years ahead.
