Aston Villa are due to take on Peterborough United in the FA Cup tomorrow.

Steve Bruce, Manager of Aston Villa looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Fulham and Aston Villa at Craven Cottage on April 17, 2017 in London, England.

Steve Bruce has told Aston Villa’s official Facebook page that Henri Lansbury will play against Peterborough United tomorrow, but he may not start.

Villa head into their FA Cup match as the favourites to progress, and Bruce has hinted that he could make changes.

John Terry is set to start as he comes back from injury, while many of Villa’s youngsters will be given a chance.

Lansbury also needs game time, as he looks to recover match sharpness, after being sidelined.

However, Bruce has suggested that Lansbury will not be fit to start in the cup contest.

“Lansbury will be involved in it, but maybe not more than half an hour,” Bruce said. “That’s the remit on him.”

Bruce is keen to rotate in the fixture against Posh, as he does not want the FA Cup to distract from his side’s promotion push.
