Bruce will hope to pick up his first win on Tuesday when Aston Villa visit Reading in the Championship.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Steve Bruce has described Aston Villa fans as “absolutely fantastic” following his warm welcome on Saturday.
Bruce’s coronation as Aston Villa manager ended in a stalemate at the weekend as Jonathan Kodjia’s penalty was cancelled out by Helder Costa.
It was Villa’s eighth draw in 12 Championship games, ensuring the club still only have one win under their belt, but the supporters would have been far more disappointing had the result come in Di Matteo’s reign.

The Italian was sacked by Aston Villa earlier this month after guiding the club to just one win in 11 Championship outings, and Bruce’s appointment is a big statement by owner Tony Xia.
The fans inside Villa Park on Saturday made sure the veteran manager – who has won promotion to the Premier League on four occasions, with two different teams – was welcomed with open arms.

And the 55-year-old has acknowledged their support in the form of a thank you.
“I thought they were absolutely fantastic – I thank them. It’s a wonderful club with a wonderful support,” he told the club’s official website.
“They are finding it tough at the moment but it’s my job to put a smile on their faces and given them the team that they warrant. I will do everything I can. “
