There are very high hopes for Newcastle United winger Miguel Almiron this season.

Almiron came on as a substitute for Newcastle in their friendly against Preston North End, which they ended up losing 2-1.
The Paraguayan international actually missed from the penalty spot.
However, Bruce still saw plenty of promise in Almiron’s display, and he thinks that the 25-year-old could form a strong partnership with Newcastle new boy Joelinton in attack.
Bruce said: “The two of them (Joeliton and Almiron) will be a handful. After one minute, they combined, which could have won us the game.
“It was nice to see Miggy, it was the first time I have seen him live. He is a very good player.”

Almiron has quickly gone from being the new boy at Newcastle last January, to carrying much of their attacking hopes.
The skilful South American impressed during his first few months with Newcastle, and there are very high hopes of what could lie ahead for him this season.
Newcastle begin their campaign in two weekends’ time, and face a tough test up first, as they host Arsenal.
