The Aston Villa boss is still keen to bring in more signings before this evening’s deadline.

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce addressed the media today, ahead of his side’s clash with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane tomorrow, and admitted that he is still in the market to sign one or two more players on loan before the window closes at 5pm this evening, as quoted by the club’s official YouTube channel.
The Villans have already made some key signings this summer, including John McGinn for around £2.75 million and the loan captures of Anwar El Ghazi and Yannick Bolasie.
Many are predicting that Bruce will guide his Aston Villa side to promotion this season, and if he can get one or two more signings over the line before the window closes, they will be in a fantastic position to do just that.
The Villa boss spoke to reporters today during his pre-match press conference, and outlined his plan to bring in at least one more signing, as quoted by the club’s official YouTube channel:

“I hope that we can bring one or two in. I have to say to the supporters, if I can’t bring in people who I think can really improve us, then I won’t get into it and just bring in numbers, because I don’t think that does anybody any good.”
Quite who Bruce is targeting, though, remains a mystery.
