Can Aston Villa break into the Championship top six?
Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has been quoted as saying by the club’s official Twitter page that his side will not give up in the race for the Championship playoffs.
Villa are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 57 points from 40 matches, nine points behind sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday.
It is not going to be easy for the Villans to break into the top six, but manager Bruce has made it clear that he and his players are not going to give up.
Villa are in good form in the Championship at the moment, and there is a small chance that they could claim a spot in the playoffs.
The Villans have won their last four league fixtures against Sheffield Wednesday, Wigan Athletic, Norwich City and Queens Park Rangers.
Bruce’s side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Burton Albion away from home at the Pirelli Stadium.
The Villa Park faithful should be optimistic about the coming weeks, as it seems that Bruce and his players are not giving up on sneaking into the top six.
