Sheffield Wednesday have lost to Aston Villa.

Wednesday have suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Villa at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship this afternoon.
Gary Hooper put the Owls in the lead after just seven minutes, but Villa restored parity midway through the first half through John McGinn.
Albert Adomah made it 2-1 to the Villans in the second minute of injury time, and Chelsea-owned striker Tammy Abraham found the net soon after.
Wednesday could have taken the lead on 57 minutes had striker Fletcher been able to score from the penalty spot.
The Owls were awarded a penalty, but Villa goalkeeper Jed Steer kept out Fletcher’s effort.
Wednesday manager Bruce believes that the turning point in the match was Fletcher failing to score from the spot.
The defeat to Villa means that the Owls are now 12th in the Championship table with 56 points from 40 matches, six points behind sixth-placed Bristol City, who have played 39 games.
