Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Kieran Lee has made just two appearances at Hillsborough this term.

Lee has had a torrid time this season, and has only been fit to make two appearances for the Owls.
The 30-year-old played in Wednesday’s final two games of the campaign, after finally making it off the treatment table.
And even though Lee has not been able to make much of an impact, he has still done enough to convince Bruce that he is worth keeping around.
Lee’s current contract at Wednesday expires in the summer, but the Owls are keen to tie him down for another year.
“Kieran has trained with us for two to three weeks,” said Bruce. “You can see in training that he is a good player.
“We understand that he has had an awful time with injuries but we think in the long run he will be okay.

“With a good pre-season behind him, Kieran will be like a new player. He covers the ground and distances that I am looking for in a midfield player.”
Wednesday have been key to trim their squad, with Bruce determined to reduce the wage bill.
Bruce has also suggested that he wants to limit Wednesday’s injury problems next term, which shows the gamble he is taking on Lee staying fit.
If the Owls can keep Lee off the treatment table then he has the potential to be one of the best midfielders in the division next season.
