Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce left Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month.

Steve Bruce has told The Guardian he has sympathy for former club Sheffield Wednesday.
Bruce forced through a move to Newcastle, which was unpopular with Owls fans.
Newcastle supporters weren’t too impressed either, but he is now working on winning them over.
Bruce says he now has his dream job and admits he left Sheffield Wednesday in the lurch.
He said: “I’ve been totally selfish.
“I feel for the players, the staff and everyone at Sheffield Wednesday but I had to have a crack at this.
“I think I’ve got the tools to take this club forward.”

Bruce added that he turned Newcastle down while manager of Birmingham City and regretted it for years.
This influenced his thinking this time around, to not let this opportunity pass him by.
Sheffield Wednesday are yet to name a replacement for Bruce.
