Aston Villa have lost two of the first 10 matches Steve Bruce has been in charge of.
Steve Bruce has admitted to the Telegraph that Aston Villa are falling short of his expectations.
Villa have lost just two of the first 10 matches that Bruce has been in charge of, but the 55-year-old is still not satisfied.
Bruce claims that Villa are two points short of the target which he set them when he first took over from Roberto Di Matteo.

“To be fair to the players, we’re two points short of the target I set when I walked through the door,” he said. “A club like ours has to be looking at two points a game at least to give us a chance.”
Villa are currently in 13th place in the Championship table, after making improvements under Bruce.
The Midlands club are having to play catch up in the race for promotion, as they started the campaign so poorly under Di Matteo’s guidance.

Villa are nine points away from the play off spaces, and they will require a strong second half of the season to break into the top six.
Villa are next in action later today, when they take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
