Thierry Henry is linked with the Aston Villa job.

The move would put Steve Bruce out of work, two years after he compared one of Aston Villa’s top stars to Thierry Henry.
Henry is a legendary former France international and Arsenal’s record goalscorer and his playing exploits are almost unrivalled in the Premier League era, even if he is an unknown quantity in management.
Bruce previously compared Villa forward Jonathan Kodjia to Henry, speaking to the Express and Star
He said: “I am just looking at the squad of players now and how to get the best out of them. Kodjia is the prime one.
“In France they don’t play as wingers, they play as centre-forwards but to the left or the right. The classic one was Thierry Henry.
“You only have to come and watch him to see what a good player he is.”

Now Kodjia could have the chance to learn from the master if Henry takes charge.
The Ivory Coast international was born in Paris and developed his career in France before joining Bristol City.
He is ready to bounce back after an injury hit campaign in 2017/18, and under Henry’s tutelage he could go on to enjoy his best season yet at Villa.
