Steve Bruce says that Joelinton is finding life in the Premier League tough, as the Newcastle United striker has scored just once in England so far.

Joelinton has still scored only one goal for Newcastle since signing, and the Brazilian barely posed a threat yesterday.
Newcastle drew 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, but Joelinton didn’t even muster up a shot on target during the match.
Almiron was a bigger threat, but the winger’s goal drought continued.
Almiron has not scored for Newcastle since he signed for the club in January, and he now looks extremely nervous when presented with a chance.
And Bruce admits that Joelinton, in particular, is struggling to adapt to life in the Premier League.
“All forwards thrive off opportunities, and in the second half, we haven’t done enough to try to help them,” Bruce said.
“I’m going to face the same questions with (Miguel) Almiron.
“We’ll have to be patient with him and try to protect him, and there’s no doubt he’s a good player. At the moment, he’s finding it tough, but then again, that’s what the Premier League is. It’s tough and uncompromising.”

Newcastle broke their transfer record on Joelinton, so there is pressure on him to come good sooner rather than later.
With Andy Carroll out injured, Newcastle’s striking options are limited, although Bruce could turn to Dwight Gayle, as he looks to make his side more potent in front of goal.
Gayle has previously struggled at Premier League level, but he may prove to be a better option than Joelinton at this moment in time.
Newcastle’s next match comes against West Ham United, when Bruce will be aiming to get his attacking line-up correct.
